An international online event will be held on 23 May 2025 to explore practical approaches, challenges, and opportunities in implementing the EITI Standard at national and local levels. The event brings together government representatives, national secretariats, civil society organizations, open data experts, and developers to exchange experiences and foster cross-country cooperation in extractive sector governance.

The dialogue will focus on the experiences of Ukraine and the Republic of the Philippines — two countries that have developed distinct institutional and digital approaches to EITI implementation. Key topics will include:
- Institutionalization of EITI processes and stakeholder engagement;
- Use of open data platforms and GovTech/CivicTech tools;
- Practical use of EITI data at the local level;
- Lessons learned and strategic directions for digital and policy development;
- Opportunities for international collaboration and peer learning.
